Group Challenges

Yr Wyddfa (as it is known locally in Welsh) is the highest peak in Wales and at 1085m / 3560ft high, it’s a tough climb to reach the summit, no matter the time of day or how many times you do it.

We have created some different challenge ideas based on and around Snowdon. From a long day along the Snowdon Skyline, suitable for most people, up to the Snowdon 6 challenge which is even more demanding than the National 3 Peaks but without the high transport costs!

What an amazing experience, the views, the weather and a great team of leaders who got us through this challenge!

I am already looking up my next hike - the blisters and aches were more than worth it.

A few of us joined the Burnt Chef walk with RAW from coast to summit - Caernarfon to the top of Snowdon - it was such a well organised and well run trip.

We had a thorough briefing the night before and the team from RAW couldn’t have been more helpful.

Snowdon is tough but is worth every second for some of the views. A great trip, superbly organised.
